Welcome to The Nook

Creativity for Wellbeing

The Nook offers a small, calm, and welcoming space for young people to create, learn, and flourish.

At The Nook, we believe creativity is a wonderful way to connect with young people facing difficulties at school or with life challenges.

Using our experience and expertise, we have developed creative activities that support young people’s emotional, social, and mental wellbeing. We offer a blend of therapeutic art and creative writing sessions.

We genuinely want to see every young person thrive.

The Nook in Eynsham

At The Nook in Eynsham, we are pleased to extend a therapeutic option to the exceptional creative work already provided by Jessie’s Art Shed. The Nook is a peaceful, creative space that enables small groups (up to 6 people) to spend time together creating, building friendships, gaining confidence, and thriving.

At The Nook, we offer two types of therapeutic creativity: art and creative writing. Using these, we have developed a unique schedule of daily activities to choose from during term time and workshops during holidays. Personalised one-to-one creative sessions and customised groups are also available on request.

We are trauma-informed, neurodiversity-aware, and trained to work therapeutically with young people through the creative arts.

The Nook in Standlake
